As true proof of the quality level of the original Star Trek- over five years after the first set of posts we have returned to family viewing and  Anabelle’s comments on this franchise.

Our Adventures with Superman

It took a while for me to see the new My Adventures with Superman series on Max.  (Kudos to good old "Skinimax" for taking the streaming name from its parent company HBO after all these years.)

 

This delay was mostly because of my irrational bias against anime. That coupled with a deep knowledge and understanding of my own personal issues with incorrect execution of this character, meant I initially chose to stay away from this version.

Ahsoka Season 1- Or is it Rebels Season 5?

As Anabelle and I wildly texted each other "WOO HOO!!" and various other exclamations while watching each episode of the latest Star Wars television series, I couldn't help wonder if those who hadn't watched any of the two animated series that introduced most of these characters could follow what was happening.

These are all "weird flex" tales- moments of pride or an oddly presented compliment that were in anomalous situations, or unlikely manners.

All three happened after I had moved into my condo and was still young, but established at work.

The title comes from Anabelle referring to anything from my past she hasn't heard about as "Dad Lore."
