The Making of Jurassic Park- Mistakes!

An Instagram post about an inaccuracy of how the Brachiosaurus ate in the original Jurassic Park led me to remember and comment about an event that happened shortly after I started my full time job for a medical device company.

As I cant tell any story without a quick divergence to something similar: Years after that memory- my daughter's class had me come in to juggle and (because school should be educational) also give a talk about the heart and our device. Following the juggling, what I actually do for a living confused the children-  and I quote, "I thought your Dad was a clown."

However, years before that moment to get back on track, because I was still in contact with my fifth grade teacher,  (and my third grade teacher who was then principal and could approve this) she invited me to juggle for her class, and (because school should be educational) also give a talk. However, since I was THE dinosaur kid in their classes  (and likely the school), she asked me to give a talk about dinosaurs. Therefore (since it was 1994, the film was a huge hit and was available via home release and cable) I gave them a presentation based around things the original Jurassic Park got wrong. (Even in the 90's it was an extensive list. We have learned a huge amount more about dinosaurs since then.)

Transformers Rewatch Beast Wars Season 2A

Beast Wars Season Two
The DVD Menus are the same as season one, but showing blue controls instead of green. Oh, and there is a short intro (using below the show level digital animation) of shooting a hole in the wall to get into the control room.

Transformers Rewatch Beast Wars Season 1B

The Web
Question- Are beast forms organic, and that’s what protects them from unstable Energon? With the old CGI it is hard to tell.

Transformers Rewatch Beast Wars Season 1A

BEAST WARS  Introduction
Ten years after the Generation One Transformers cartoon ended. Hasbro brought the franchise back in a modified, or as someone who is hilarious might say, "a transformed" way.

Transformers Rewatch Original Season 1B

         S.O.S Dinobots
Wheeljack and Ratchet (Ambulance Minivan) create sentient life. No one is phased or even bats an electronic eye at this. Is that. Normal? Is that how Cybertronian reproduction works?  (Later on we will learn the answer is a resounding "NO")

DC and Monsters, The Good, the Bad and the...

Seriously, what in the hell was that crazy awesome thing?

But before we reach that story ...
Let's start with the Good.

Christmas Village 2023

A Mesozoic Daring, Highly Trained Special Mission Force
or
A Ruthless Terrorist Organization, Determined to Be Hos D'oeuvres

This year's annual battle is introduced by the Marvel Legends' interpretation of the Radio City Rockettes' "New York at Christmas" Production Number.
Around the Hess Tour bus are Enchantress, Scarlett Witch, Mantis, White Tiger, Dazzler (here for every Christmas, by law) Elektra, Polaris and Thundra.
A big thank you to Anabelle for completely ignoring me when I said,
"You'll never get that many Marvel Super Women figures to stand up."
Granted, they did go over like dominos after she went back to school, adding extensively to the holiday profanity party as I tried to fix them.

Anyway- on to the battle!

Favorite Movie of Every Year I've Been Alive

I thought this would be a cool celebration of my 1200th post!
And it is!
Because I still can't read a calendar.
It was very nearly a cool celebration of my 1199th post.

Anabelle deserves thanx for helping me with this in two ways.
1) She'd ask what film I put for a year or if I included a specific movie and I'd forget what I said, making me look up the year again and finding films I missed.
2) She reminded me I could adjust publish dates after I set them up, meaning after an incredibly late night of shifting post times and cross references this one IS for #1200!

Background- People on a Facebook movie group were listing
"My favorite movie that came out each year I was alive."

It took me much longer to do this than most of the younger folks in the group.
With that kind of time investment, I get to put it here.
