Wrestling Moments: Televised "House" Show- Several Times Between March 18, 1989 and April 1, 1990

Disclaimer- I don't know when this happened, and it was probably more than once.

However, few moments summarize why I enjoy the goofiness mixed with athleticism mixed with behind the scenes connections of old school WWF more than this one.

Other Disclaimer- I knew I would enjoy writing these, but I am having far more fun than the large amount anticipated. Therefore, the length of them will continue to creep up as I fill them with more entertaining (to me) asides. I do hope others are enjoying these, but that isn't the main focus as I am having a ball.

Other Other Disclaimer- I write to keep myself sane and focused, and to make people laugh. There are other things weighing on my mind that would do none of these if I wrote exclusively about them. Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man Through a "Kid's" Eyes

It's truly amazing how connected these films all are, and how they carry the story through them. Sixty-five years before Tony Stark showed up at the bar General Thunderbolt Ross was in, the tales from one film series and a whole separate movie met head on in this very early shared universe.

Wrestling Moments: Televised "House" Show- Sometime in 1989ish, I have no idea

In my experience (which I've been spending way too long providing evidence of) Ted Dibiase, "The Million Dollar Man" is the greatest pure heel that has ever come out of professional wrestling.

Doctor Strange, The Multiverse of Madness came out...

This is the problem with getting way ahead on posts. Sure I sleep better, but the timeliness is a bit compromised. On the positive side, I feel less guilty about spoilers.

Wrestling Moments: Saturday Night's Main Event XII, October 3, 1987- Hershey Park Arena

This one is rare as I was able to see it live.

Well, It was filmed a week and a half before airing. 

Therefore, I got to see it pretend to be live.

But that's wrestling for ya.

The Mummy's Tomb Through a "Kid's" Eyes

Lon Chaney Jr. takes the role of the titled monster... 

again. 

He brings so much soul to the part, as always. Yet, sadly, when they recycled the already recycled Ancient Egypt footage in any of his three turns as Kharis, they didn't bother to add him in.  

Wrestling Moments: WrestleMania I, March 31 1985- Madison Square Garden

The original WrestleMania was a huge gamble and THE big turning point for Professional Wrestling as a whole shifting away from self contained regions, called territories, it worked under for many years.

Yes, this is late, and Doctor Strange will be later. My wife really got in to the Universal Horror Films, transitioning them from sporadic appearances to "every other Thursday."  

I'm so proud.

I'm really liking the fact that Marvel Studios continues to select deep cut characters, allowing me to experience these stories almost like a normal person.
