Keep Moving, Keep Moving, Keep.

Another  Danceworks Denville  Moving Company season is in the books. Or is in on the books?
It’s definitely in the past whatever the relationship to books is.

Once more, due to the fact that we’ve all agreed to use the same calendar, it coincides with the anniversary (Eight years plus one day) of this blog.

It’s nice to have a connection to something nobler than the standard twice a week foolishness that goes on here for this annual acknowledgment.  Miss Chris’s concentrated efforts to bring musical entertainment to those in rehab centers, assisted living and senior residences certainly counts.

Alien Vs. Predator Video Game Post

There have been a grand total of fourteen videogames in this combination franchise, not counting games that only feature one of these extra-terrestrials.

By any definition, that’s kind of insane, but it does illustrate the staying power of the idea, and how many folks are drawn to participating in it.

Increased Effort Imagining

I liked The Greatest Showman very much.

Y’know why?
Because the music was awesome and it made me feel good.
Sometimes, that’s all you need from entertainment.

Having a soft spot for the "No business like show business" circus attitude doesn't hurt either.

Aliens Vs. Predator Comic Post

In 1989 the original and one of the best meetings of these two creatures showed up in Dark Horse Comics, and it made a perfect match.

New Who Views: Doctor of the Future, Back to the Beginning

Important point number one:
I think Jodie Whittaker is a fantastic Doctor.
She’s clever, she’s mad, and she’s fun.

Important point number two:
I enjoyed every episode this season, the companions were engaging, and the guest stars were also fun.

But as a fan of the show for over thirty years, I can tell I am not the target audience.

Predator Team Up Comics Post

My first exposure to the four color version of Predators wasn’t in their solo comics by Dark Horse Publishing.

Getting Into- Into the Spider-Verse

There was another, non-aquatic  superhero film my daughter and I caught and enjoyed immensely last month:
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

We were both very excited about it as soon as we saw the first trailer, and loved the film itself.

Which is kind of weird since neither one of us likes Spidey all that much.
