This Song Can Only Mean One Thing!

This post contains bad, foul, filthy and unacceptable language - the words that “will curve your spine, grow hair on your hands and maybe, even bring us, God help us, peace without honor.”

This is not a post for children.  Kids, take a hike.
This is also not a post for those adults who are offended by this type of language.  Do yourself a favor, and go read some of my cute stuff before moral outrage can kick in.
Just about everything else on this blog is clean…Stupid sometimes, but clean.
End of Warning.

I do believe this is the first time something like this has happened.

There have been multiple times where the perfect actor was cast in a comic book role, unfortunately in a film that completely wasted that opportunity.

(Danny Devito's Penguin springs to mind.  The supporting cast of Ang Lee's Hulk, and after watching him as the Atom, I'll put Brandon Routh's Superman pretty close to this as well, Henry Cavill may be this, but I don't have high hopes for Batman Vs. Superman.)

However, none of them got the chance to do it again.

Nick Cage in two Ghost Rider films that had mixes of right and wrong for completely different reasons doesn't really count.

But after the mess that his appearance was in the colon heavy X-men: Origins: Wolverine Ryan Reynolds gets to return as the Merc With a Mouth...and actually keep his mouth this time.

I know, and continued to be embarrassed by the fact, that people still wait for my opinion before seeing this type of movie...

Moving Right Along

Another season of the Moving Company has come and gone, leaving only fond memories for the members and audiences. Once more Miss Chris of Danceworks has marshaled her troupe to bring the “art of dance” (and a bit of the “art of sing”) to those in the community unable to travel out to it on their own.

Wow, that was a sappy beginning. I’ll have to increase the “rude and juvenile” content on upcoming posts here to reset the balance.

Still Animated About Star Wars

Click here for the start of the Star Wars Cartoon Ramblings
Here for the Spoiler free review of The Force Awakens that was responsible for it
(Or Here, here or here for spoilers)

Back to the Clone Wars animated series, already in progress.

Most of the Jedi and other characters only hinted at in the films got moments in the spotlight to prove they were as interesting as their glimpses made them appear.

But Anakin Skywalker got the most impressive upgrade.
