New Who Views- The Broadchurch Connection

My wife watched Broadchurch when it was first on.  (She thinks she watched all of it, but isn't sure...this is common in our home, and keeps fun surprises in our lives.)

It's not my normal type of show but the cast looked interesting.  Anabelle watched it recently and talked about the huge Doctor Who crossover. She then let me know that it was leaving Netflix in less than a month and I needed to hurry so we could talk about it.

Being a responsible parent, I did...and it gave me a much better understanding of the current state of Doctor Who under Chris Chibnall.

Some Comics for the Season...that ended a while ago.

I probably should have done this last month, but frankly monsters and stuff are important in my life year round.

I decided to rewatch the X-men film franchise again while exercising. Frankly, at this point I can’t help myself when it comes to commenting on things, and I might as well use it to fill space.

It’s yet another addiction in my life.

Two Seasons of Stargirl

 The second season of the Stargirl Television series ended.

Therefore, I'm going to talk about comic books.

By this point, our group of “kids” was older, and the total number of campers was thinned out further, giving us more firsthand experiences of the “grown up” game play. Besides standards of five card draw and seven card stud, I learned the rules of a couple new gambling pastimes well before playing poker while confusing Nick’s friends with drunken explanations of laser powered spacecraft.

 

What If... The MCU Kept Getting More and More Like the Comics.

I've been a big fan of the What If comic series for most of my comic collecting life. There have been several runs and I have favorite stories in all of them.
