An Educational Public Service

It was a momentous occasion!

I had started ordering them in September of 2021. Each set had multiple year delays that overlapped when the following set was due to be released, meaning there was no way I could stop. ( It was a "need.")

Then…

FINALLY for Christmas in 2025 I got the last figure complete with the case. (Thanx Mom!)

I proudly showed everyone at work my completed and displayed collection of deluxe figures from the Puppet Master Franchise!

AND NO ONE HAD HEARD OF THEM!!!!

Books To Open Your Mind- Dinosaurs Are EVERYWHERE!!!

The fact that birds are the living members of the dinosaur family has been firmly established thanks to many discoveries in my lifetime, although it was suspected and stated by very early dinosaur paleontologists. There have been dinosaur books written with this perspective.

This post contains bad, foul, filthy and unacceptable language - the words that “will curve your spine, grow hair on your hands and maybe, even bring us, God help us, peace without honor.”

This is also not a post for those adults who are offended by this type of language.  Do yourself a favor, and go read some of my cute stuff before moral outrage can kick in.

Lanterns Feels Like a Vertigo Take on the Green Lantern Mythology

 Spoilers abound.

Lanterns is an amazingly well done show. It is also confusing for me.

This is because is a well done show based off of DCs main cosmic mythos, but filled with things I usually don't want in my comics-  adult themes, language and situations, along with some really dark moments. (The language was excellently, used however.) Also for the main "cosmic property" it is primarily a street level detective story in a small farm town.

Strange New Worlds Season Four

The New “old” Star Trek show continues on. This season is focusing more on classic series style “done in one” tales. However, some continuing character threads come into play. I'm a big fan of the way this show fully embraced how Star Trek has always had episodes across multiple genres, and whether they be serious or crazy they always maintained the dramatic tension and stayed true to the characters throughout.

[I wrote these as they came out, so any thoughts after the season completed will be in brackets at the end of each episode.]
