Clone Wars Season One

Feature Film : August 10, 2008

We meet Yoda, Obi, and Ani,  Ani’s Padawan Ahsoka Tano, and Ani and Obi’s Clone leaders Captain Rex, and Commander Cody.  On the other side we meet Dooku and his dual wielding assassin, Asajj Ventris in a ginormous awesome Jedi and Clones versus Sith and Droids battle that sets the tone for the series.  And it also featured the triumphant introduction of Jabba's Uncle Ziro, who sounds like Truman Capote for no clear reason, and Jabba's son, Stinky the Hutt.

Awesome Yoda versus an army battle.  Pity the army.

1. Ambush

Three parter against Grevious’ Ship.  Has Ani, Obi and Ahsoka, good action but nothing super spectacular. (A comment on how many other awesome space and land battles there are in this series.)

2. Rising Malevolence

3. Shadow of Malevolence

4. Destroy Malevolence

Rex and Cody meet Domino squad. You’ll see more of them later.  Very good clone story, no girls though. Takes place between Season 3 Episodes 1 and 2.

5. Rookies

The first of many why R2 D2 is awesome stories.  Ahsoka and Ani vs Grevious.

6. Downfall of a Droid 

7. Duel of the Droids 

Jar Jar and Padme deal with the Nemoidians on Rodia. Both are cooler than in the Prequels.

8. Bombad Jedi

Ahsoka and Luminara Undluli against Ventress, GIRL FIGHT!

9. Cloak of Darkness

Kit Fisto and his fish faced Padawan learn why Grevous has his Jedi killer rep.  No regular Jedi

10. Lair of Grievous

Ani, Obi, and Dooku meet and caught by Hondo, who you will learn to love.  Jar Jar saves the day. No Ahsoka but worthwhile because its very funny.

11. Dooku Captured

12. The Gungan General

Ahsoka and Ayla Secura with Ani and Rex meet Space Lemurs and fight chubby alien Sulu

13. Jedi Crash

14. The Defenders of Peace

Ani, Obi, (no Ahsoka), a Girl Senator (Chuchi) and her jerk boss meet yeti. Nifty tale gives more weight to Chuchi when she shows up later.

15. Trespass

No Ahsoka, Mostly clones finding one of their own is a traitor, Ani and Obi there. Another of many good clone stories.

16. The Hidden Enemy

Padme and Ahsoka do a lot. Ani and Obi get some heroics. Amazingly Jar Jar.does too.

17. Blue Shadow Virus

18. Mystery of a Thousand Moons

Twilek planet story.  Ahsoka, Obi & cool clone stuff, plus Mace Windu at the end.  Numa shows up as a little girl, she’ll join the Twilek resistance as an adult in Rebels. Hera’s dad is here too.

Intro to Cad Bane and a little of Aurra Singh, Ani & Padme story with more weight and romance than the prequels.
