[Later edit- I fixed the title. It actually said “Disney World” when I gave it to my family. Old habits die hard. Brackets indicate my jokes, brackets with “Later Edit” is anything I wrote after giving the list to my family, before or after the trip. No one cares, moving on.]
[Later edit- As always, most of this was boring food lists. I replaced much of that with {…}]
[Later edit- We did, and even without Clarabelle there anymore, keeping the character meal for the last day was one of the better food ideas.]
[Later edit- And also nearly impossible to access…Freakin’ California]
Except for maybe that one-hundred-dollar sandwich at the Pym Kitchen.
[Later edit- Except I did list some, and I bought them.]
[Later edit- I continued to do this the whole week we were there and after returning home.]
[Later edit- See?]
Goofy’s Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel)
Oh yeah, It’s not Chef Goofy’s. Maybe that will reduce the chance of Anabelle catching on fire.
Clarabelle in a fun spring outfit. YAY!
$75 a person.
[Later edit- They did! YAY!]
{…}
Smoked Salmon Blini with Crème fraiche, and Chives and breakfast radish [This was not the breakfast menu, also, it’s a radish, it does not know what time it is.]
Build your Own Granola Parfait- includes Flavored Yogurt, Granola, and Fruits Compote [With freshly picked California granola, no doubt.]
{…}
Build your Own Salad Bar [That needs a comma… or a hammer.]
Pearl Couscous salad
Carrot and Fennel Salad
Pearl Couscous salad [There must be a lot.]
{…}
Honey Roasted Carrots and rolled oat Dukkha [That sounds dirty.]
{…}
Duck confit Campanelle [ooh ! Duck!]
[Later edit- Anabelle confirmed the duck worthy of going “ooh!”]
BBQ Pork Ribs with Crispy Corn Curls [more ooh! Ribs!]
[Later edit- Rosa got a gluten free pile and we all confirmed the “ooh!”]
{…}
Golden Mini Corn Dogs [How do they compare to Tusker House?]
[Later Edit- About the same. Ooh!]
Assorted Pizza Selections [Later edit- including the weird one listed for breakfast.]
{…}
And regular ones too.
Carthay Circle Lounge (Buena Vista Street) Lunch
It’s a lounge with Asian themed food connected to a restaurant literally EVERY Awesome Happy California Disney person has recommended. I get it now! This lounge has a bigger menu than most restaurants!
It says its “Alfresco Dining.” I think “Alfresco” is one of my relatives.
We’ll have to ask about GF… again. Its Disney so they’re well rated for it.
But, y’know Relaxed and Groovy.
[Later edit- The lounge was literally the bar area of the restaurant, yet with a smaller menu. The additions in the other place would not be enough to yield the amount of praise this place generated. The GF was also very limited and specific. Freakin’ California.]
Achiote Glazed Salmon*- Charred Onion Puree, Crispy Tortilla, Dried Apricot Salsa $26.00
[Ooh, I found out what the * means. They cook it as requested and warn you about dying if you get it too rare, good to know!]
{…}
Filet Mignon Beef Skewers- Aji Amarillo, Peruvian Stewed Beans $26.00
[How did the Peruvian food get in here? I guess it’s a global mix.]
Chocolate Ice Cream Sundae-Candied Almonds, Toasted Marshmallow, Chocolate Sauce $15.00
Artisan Selected Cheese Board-Seasonal Marmalade $22.00
[Wow, a bit of a drop here. Ice cream or cheese.]
Plaza Inn Breakfast (Main Street) with Minnie and…
Who knows? Could be anyone, Goofy Spawn? Possible
One woman said nine characters were there! Great googely moogely!
California Relaxed and Groovy at its finest.
$46
[Later edit- Nope… there were TEN characters! Relaxed and Groovy can be exciting sometimes.]
We may have to go straight to lunch next]
[Later edit- We did not, we were all very full. YAY!]
{…}
GF consulting will be needed.
[Later edit- I was correct.]
Lamplight Lounge (Pixar Pier) Lunch
A much more loungy lounge, but the food looked decent, when I checked and we gots to eat.
The menu on the Disney site is weird minimal and really broken apart. And the allergen friendly list has a thing that the other lists doesn’t. Also, it doesn’t match what it looked like before when I made the review table.
Frankly I’m confused. I have no idea why we picked this. They must have updated their menu, this was the impossible pastrami place, none of the food matches what I saw before.
We may drop this one.
Oh Wait! It completely changed again three days later. Lord knows what it will be when we sit down to eat!
Not only that but they list allergy friendly options.
I almost feel like I clicked on the wrong place a couple days ago, but there’s enough similarity in set up and food references that I really don’t think so.
[Later edit- there are weirdly, two listings for this place on the website, in the two forms I saw. We had reservations at the correct one.]
[Later Later edit- After all the back and forth, the minimal and snooty menu, coupled with the even more minimal Gluten Freeness led to a cancellation before we went. Then we passed by it about a hundred times when we were ready to eat. Freakin’ Us.]
Potato Skins- crispy Yukon Gold Potatoes with Brown Butter-Caper Yogurt, Smoked Paprika Aïoli and Manchego Cheese $16.00 [Them’s some snooty ‘tater skins there.]
Lobster Nachos- Warm Lobster with Black Beans, Aged Cheddar-Oaxaca Cheese Sauce, Shredded Cheese Blend, Pico de Gallo, Sliced Serrano Chiles and Chipotle Crema $25.00 [Snooty nachos too.]
{…}
Bigger Bites
Stone Fruit Salad [Yummy Yummy]- Roasted Chicken Breast, Mixed Greens, Sweet Tea Vinaigrette and spicy Cornbread Crumbles $22.00
Cheddar Burger*- Grilled Custom Burger Blend with Cheddar, Tomato, Lettuce, Red Onion and Avocado Ranch Spread on a Toasted Amish Bun $25.00 [Snooty burger too, I sense a theme.]
{…}
Turf and a Little Bit of Surf- Filet Mignon, Aromatic Cauliflower Purée, Soy-glazed Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, Mushrooms and Black Garlic-Red Wine Reduction, served with a side of Shrimp Toast $38.00 [This is listed as “seasonal.” Since the ENTIRE menu was rewritten over the weekend, don’t hold your breath for this one.]
[Later edit- We may never know.]
{…}
Brownie- with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Berry Sauce and Macerated Berries $11.00 [As opposed to those steak filled brownies most places have.]
[Later edit- it was literally three lines above on the regular menu. I am a buffoon.]
Donuts- Ask about our seasonal offering. $11.00
[Or look at the top of the menu where they list it.]
{…}
Blue Bayou (Adventureland)
Cool looking restaurant in the Pirates Ride, YO HO!!!
[Later edit- As tempted as I was to choose between two entrees that would clog my arteries instantly, the tiny menu meant we cancelled this reservation as well. Alas.
P.S. Someone still owes me a steak.
P.P.S. That P.S. was written before I got
one!]
Starters
{…}
Chicken Gumbo-
Tasso Ham, Andouille Sausage and Peppers with Steamed Rice $9.00
[There is so much Gumbo at this park. It’s kind of scary.]
Rosemary &
Sea Salt Brioche- Butter and Seasonal Jam $12.00 [Wabbit season, Duck season,
JAM SEASON!]
Entrées
{…}
Sustainable
Market Fish*- Pigeon Peas & Wilted Greens Rice, Peanut Habanero, Herb Salad
and Coconut Lime Beurre Blanc $40.00 GF [Maybe that guy fishing at the
start of the ride catches them?]
Monte Cristo- Potato
Chips, Stone Fruit Salad, Seasonal Preserves and Remoulade $31.00
[This may kill me , but they are SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!]
Kids menu has
Shrimp, vegetables, rice and mashed potatoes gluten free. They can probably
make an adult meal out of that.
Plant-Based
{…}
Sunchoke and
Pistachio Pesto Pasta- Charred Heirloom Cauliflower, Bloomsdale Spinach and
Crispy Parmesan Crisps $28.00 [Wait, “sunchoke?” They’re just making stuff up
now. Freakin’ California.]
Crème Brûlée
Tart- Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée in a Tart Shell $12.00
[I know you’re proud this is plant based, but it should be down below]
Desserts
{…}
Assorted Macarons- [Ooooooh!] $17.00
Allergy-Friendly
Mardi Gras Celebration Meal [but only some allergies, not the one we need. I
may eat it though]
[Later edit- or not]
Guests must speak to a Cast Member about their allergy-friendly request [It says this a zillion times over all the menus. I left one in for fun.]
Andouille Corn Dogs- Mustards, Remoulade, Pickled Slaw (For Fish/Shellfish, Peanut/Tree Nut and Sesame Allergies)
Blackened Ribeye & Bourbon Shrimp- Gumbo-smothered Fries and Bourbon Cream Sauce (For Fish, Peanut/Tree Nut and Sesame Allergies) [Gumbo… on fries…I was not kidding.]
Mardi Gras Cake- Cream Cheese Mousse, Speculoos Cookies, Cherries Jubilee and Graham Cracker Crumble (For Fish/Shellfish, Peanut and Sesame Allergies)
Beverages-
Many, but not as stupidly large amount as the lounges. I may need some rum
here. Arrrrrr!
[Later edit- I had some rum… when we got home. Arrrrrrrr!]
{…}
[There is so much Gumbo at this park. It’s kind of scary.]

Day 6 May 17 No park… alas
Goofy’s Kitchen Breakfast (Disneyland Hotel)
Booked because I’m a fool and didn’t read the whole Clarabelle announcement.
Still, we need to eat and it may be fun to end the trip with Chip, Dale and Pluto.
[Later Edit- Indeed!]
The Springtime special that ends the day we arrive indicated a “brunch” time, meaning there may be more lunchy selections mixed in.
$52
[Later edit- they did have a mix. We were there long enough to pretty much have two excellent meals. YAY!]
Create-Your-Own
Omelet Station
[Later edit- Just like Florida, these will make you miss characters.]
Mickey Mouse Waffles
Mickey Mouse Pancakes [So that’s just like… three pancakes, right?]
[Later edit- Yes, yes it is.]
{…}
Eggs Benedict
[Later edit- Anabelle always raved about this at 1900 Park Faire, now I know why.]
{…}
Goofy's Famous Peanut Butter Pizza [Dude, this is simultaneously revolting, and something I feel I must try. Move over pulled pork jelly donut!]
[Later edit- Had this at the first night dinner. Hot peanut butter. Don’t move over yet weird donut sandwich.]
{…}
Beverages-
Again, presumably they have them no matter what time of day.
Counter
Service
Note: there are a BOATLOAD of tiny little counter service places with only a few selections- and oddly a lot of them feature “stew.” Freakin’ California. Those will not be listed here, just the bigger ones we talked about having interest in. They’re in alphabetical order… maybe, I refuse to check. If they aren’t it means I missed one and went back. Close enough for California.
Disneyland
– First (partial) day, third and fifth day. (May 12, 14, 16, the even days, if
you will.)
Bengal
Barbecue - Adventureland
Skewers and stuff. I remember this being good, but that was a thousand years ago. What do I know?
[Later edit- Nothing, as we looked at it briefly once, and then ate somewhere else.]
Seasonal
Offerings
[Later Edit- The whole menu was “seasonal offerings” on line. Maybe it means the whole place is only open seasonally? Or maybe they’re extra Relaxed and Groovy.]
Jungle Skewers
Bengal Rice Plate- choice of two regular Skewers served on a bed of Jasmine Rice with a side of Citrus-Miso Slaw. Choice of Hot and Spicy Banyan Beef Skewer, Polynesian Sauce Chieftain Chicken Skewer, Outback Vegetable Skewer, Sweet Zulu Bengal Beef Skewer, Pork Belly Skewer, or Bacon-wrapped Asparagus Safari Skewer $18.49 [These descriptions are extensive!]
Banyan Beef
Skewer-Hot and Spicy Beef Skewer $6.99 [Wow, way to smash my description hopes.]
{…}
Plant-Based
[Why isn’t the Outback Vegetable Skewer here, did they find non plant based vegetables?]
{…}
Extra
Provisions
Tiger Tail Breadstick-Tiger Tail-shaped Breadstick baked with Garlic, Herbs and Sharp Cheddar Cheese $4.79 [I like how they felt the need to specify it is tiger tail SHAPED, in case one thought it was made of least meaty part of an endangered big cat.]
Pineapple Spear-Fresh Pineapple Spear $3.49 [Also likely plant based.]
Dill Pickle- $4.49
Spicy Dill Pickle- $4.49 [Spicy or not, again, why not on the plant-based section?]
Thirst Aid-
how cute. They have beverages, only nonalcoholic. Finally, some class.
Goofy’s Kitchen Breakfast (Disneyland Hotel)

Pineapple Spear-Fresh Pineapple Spear $3.49 [Also likely plant based.]
Dill Pickle- $4.49
Spicy Dill Pickle- $4.49 [Spicy or not, again, why not on the plant-based section?]
Same Star Wars based food as Florida. No Ronto Wraps because Ronto Roasters stays open all day. Point for California. There is also a Milk Stand. I would have loved to be at the meetings where they decided what weird Star Wars Creature was what normal earth animal.
[Later edit- After copying and formatting all of this, we never ate here. We did visit both the unlisted places above, Ronto Roasters and the Milk stand. Both were tasty.]
Vintian Mineral Mousse - Banana Brulee-centered Dark Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Mousse, Vanilla Chantilly, Chocolate Crumble, Cherry garnish $8.49 [Holy crap this sounds insane. I wonder if West Coast Disney Mousse is as good as the Eastern counterpart.]
[Later edit- I do not know how good it is, but I do know it is FAR less frequently appearing. We were only in this area for a “too soon for a meal but too late for just a snack” shared Ronto Wrap.]
Like Cosmic Ray's but without Sonny Eclipse. If they didn’t have specific Gluten Free I’d be offended.
[Later edit- We were all happy with a lunch here. The Spirit of Sonny Eclipse watches over us.]
Bantha Burger- Angus Beef & Vegetable Patty, Marinated Pork Belly, American Cheese, Asian-inspired Slaw and Sambal Sweet Mayo on a Toasted Brioche Bun, served with a choice of Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or French Fries $15.99 [The weird Star Wars divide extends to food here as well.]
[Later edit- It was hard to identify what was what on this burger, but whatever this was, it was excellent.]
Veggie Wrap- Black Bean and Fire-roasted Corn Medley, Mixed Greens, Cheese and Sun-dried Tomato Spread served with choice of Cuties® Mandarin Orange or French Fries $9.99
[Later edit- Left in not for a joke, but for Anabelle’s high recommendation of this.]
Side of French Fries $4.79 GF [“Hallelujah” says Rosa.]
Dill Pickle- $4.49 [California, what is it with you and charging for a pickle. That’s the thing I throw away that comes free with my sandwich.]
{…}
Standard Disney “theme park” food but they got an impossible burger, and Gluten Free listed. We’ve had success with those.
[Later edit- And we had success again. Must be because it was Country Bear theme, even though the attraction has been gone for twenty-three years. The Spirits of Magic Kingdom continue to look over us.]
{…}
Chicken Tenders- choice of Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or French Fries $11.99 [I like this place. They did not feel the need to tell us the chicken tenders were chicken tenders.]
Classic Impossible™ Cheeseburger- 1/4 lb Plant-based Patty with Dairy-free Cheese, Lettuce and House-made Sauce served with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or French Fries $13.29 GF
[Later edit- This was great, but they are really focused on separating their menu items. There is NO WAY to get an Impossible burger with real cheese anywhere.]
{…}
Mickey Clubhouse Ear Hat Bowl served with French Fries at time of purchase $16.19
Maleficent Ear Hat Bowl served with French Fries. Limit ten (10) per person, per transaction. $16.19
[Hear that Rosa? be careful, only ten servings of gluten free fries per person. Hee Hee]
French Fries $4.79 GF [Yay!]
Onion Rings $5.79
Red Pepper Cheese Onion Rings $8.99
Red Pepper Cheese Fries $7.99 [These two are “seasonal.” I didn’t realize red pepper ever went out of season. Freakin’ California.]
[Later edit- Says the man who carried a full size Stark Infinity Gauntlet drink holder around two parks all day. Oops, spoilers.]
Like Pecos Bills, maybe. Probably better because California Mexican food usually beats Florida.
But what do I know? I haven’t had a full trip here.
“Allergy friendly menu on request” Means they probably have the same offerings as other places but they like to keep a Latin air of mystery about it.
[Later edit, after a search, I had to manually write in Gluten Free churros, as the menu doesn’t even list churros. Freakin’ California.]
[Later later edit- This is because they had no Gluten Free Churros… Freakin’ Internet. Also much of the food was not up to usual Disney goodness. Alas.]
Reusable Utensils- Limit ten (10) per person, per transaction. No discounts apply. $11.49
[Um…what?]
{…}
Cauliflower Tacos- topped with Cabbage Slaw and Tomatillo Sauce served with Mexican Rice and Refried Beans $13.99 [Yes, give me a pile of cauliflower and cabbage with refried beans please. I would like to see if my body can produce enough gas to melt the Luxo lamp in our hotel lobby.]
{…}
[I feel like there should be more jokes in this one, but it’s standard Mexican food. Not a lot to goof on.
Ole! I guess.]
[Later edit- Definitely not ole!]
{…9 of them…}
[You win the side contest, Rancho.]
Wow, a decent counter food place in Fantasyland… he said briefly forgetting the rest of the family practically lived in Pinocchio’s Village Haus. This one’s Frenchish.
[Later edit- I commented that we never saw this place. Anabelle pointed out that we passed it constantly, at least once a day. Then I realized I had forgotten its name. Freakin’ Me.]
Vive Le Bacon! Burger-v1/3 lb Angus Beef Patty with Cheese, Bacon, Grilled Onions, Pickles and House-made Signature Sauce on a Brioche-style Bun, served with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or Taverne Potato Bites $15.49 [And that would be the cause for the “ish” on the French]
{…}
Taverne Potato Bites- Seasoned Potato Bites $4.79
[Wow! That’s it? Does Rancho “side shame” you after the park closes?]
Really basic theme park food. Why did I list this one?
Chicken Tenders- Hand-dipped Corn Dog- Fish and Chips-
Sides- French Fries
[Really, what was I thinking? There’s no way we’ll eat here.]
The deserts (only funnel cake) are called “For Yer Sweet Tooth” Hee Hee.
And the beverages
are called “Wet Yer Whistle. Again, Hee Hee.
They do have a Woody’s Boot cup, and that weird set of reusable utensils that isn’t a seasonal special here. Freakin’ California.]
California
Adventure – Second and Fourth days (May 13 and 15, the odd days. However, with
our family, they are all odd days.)
I am not
allowed to list Award Wieners or Corn Dog Castle according to Anabelle. They
have what is to be expected.
[Later edit- Including Gluten Free in the case of Award Wieners, so Rosa ate there twice. Ha Ha Anabelle.]
There is also a Turkey Leg cart so we will have to let Aurora know if we see them in the wild. Ooh, Magic Kingdom has one too. We’ll have to watch for them.
[Later edit- We saw a couple, including someone who dropped theirs. It was a sad moment. Alas.]
Cocina
Cucamonga Mexican Grill the street taco place will be closed when we go.
Alas. Maybe that’s why its web page is a menacing looking red and black. Either
that or they closed to put on a Spanish version of Les Mis.
Flo’s
V8 Café – Cars Land (duh)
Theme park food, but Cars based and almost everything has a gluten free version. So, YAY!
[Later edit- So much Yay! We went here twice.]
Entrées
Ka-Cheeseburger- Choice of Patty, Cheddar Cheese, 1000 Island and Caramelized Onions on a Toasted Bun with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or Steak Fries $13.29 GF [ BWA HA HA HA, This name alone means we need to eat here.]
[Later Edit- Other fun names, this place wins:- Cobb de Ville Salad, Ramone's Low and Slow Club]
{…}
Plant-Based
Impossible™ Burger- Impossible™ Patty, American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Lettuce and Tomato on a Toasted Bun with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or Steak Fries $13.29 GF
[Later edit- I
had a similar long term relationship with this as I did with the To the Moon
Impossible Burger at Cosmic Ray’s. In spite of Freakin’ Californian’s
constantly forgetting fixins.
Oh, and forget what I said about not being able to get real cheese on a veggie burger…I had two of them. Now I have no idea why substitutions were outlawed.]
Desserts
Flo's Classic Shake- Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry Shake topped with "Road Gravel" $6.79 GF [woo hoo, Rosa! And Anabelle!]
[Later Edit-
Woo Hoo Me Too! Between all of us we tried all the flavors. These were
awesome!]
Flo's Classic Shake in Souvenir Glass- Cars Land souvenir Shake glass served with Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry Shake topped with "Road Gravel" $15.79 [I know I said I wasn’t listing these, but I feel like we need this one.]
[Later edit- Anabelle – “Yes, yes we did.”]
{…}
Sides
Side of Steak Fries-side of Steak Fries $4.79 [I feel like the chicken tenders guy wrote this one. Also, YAY STEAK FRIES! I love those, which is odd as I don’t care about regular fries. Now back to things people actually care about.]
[Later Edit- Or at least marginally care about.]
Beverage- Regular
and alcoholic. California Adventure is less classy than the original park. They
don’t even have Cars themed names. Alas.
Fiddler,
Fifer & Practical Café- Park Entrance
Why didn’t I put this on the original review table? Oh crap, wait. It’s just a Starbucks.
That name sounded much cooler. Moving on.
Port
of San Fransokyo Cervecería- Sanfransokyo Square (again, duh)
And why didn’t I put this one? Its red and black but it doesn’t say its closed.
OOOoooh.
Cerveca, not Ceviche. I need to work on my Spanish.
They have Gyoza… oh, wait. They have the stuff that’s in gyoza, but in a sandwich.
I guess I need to work on my English too.
Paradise
Garden Grill- in the far left part of the park that I don’t know the name of
Oh… duh. Paradise Gardens Park.
This one says “Beer Garden.” I thought I was fooled again, but no, it actually has stuff we might eat, and Gluten Free listings.
Entrées
{…}
Tacos Gobernador- Chipotle-marinated Shrimp Tacos with Pepper Jack, served with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans $14.99 GF [Dude, so glad I didn’t dismiss the “beer garden,” these sound great.]
[Later edit- Anabelle confirmed they were.]
Plant-Based
Loaded Baked Potato- Seasoned Steak Tips and BBQ Baked Beans, topped with Cheese Sauce, Tangy Slaw and Green Onions $13.99 [Look, I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure no matter how much grass the bull eats, “steak tips” are not plant based.]
Dessert
{…}
Beverages, A
bunch of normal and two of the less classy variety.
Wait, they only have one Beer… Not much of a garden is it?
Pym
Test Kitchen- Avengers Campus.
Over and undersized food. NEAT!
Honestly, I keep forgetting there’s an AvengersLand, even though I’ve picked out a shirt based on it.
I will probably be stupefied when we enter it.
[Later edit- Very much so, every time. Still not as much as StarWarsLand. Also, this place had fantastic food.]
Sized to Share
Carne Asada Pretzel- Marinated Tri-Tip, Avocado Salsa, Roasted Onions and Oaxaca Cheese $15.49
Quantum Pretzel- 453.8 grams, Bavarian-style, with Sharp Cheddar Cheese-Beer Sauce $12.99
[I think we’d need a “nine of us” trip to share these.]
Entrées
Pym-ini Sandwich- Salami, Salame Rosa with pistachio nuts, Rosemary Ham, Provolone and Sun-dried Tomato Spread on Toasted Focaccia, served with Marinara Dipping Sauce and Arugula Salad $14.69
[Hey look, They can’t spell panini either!]
“Bigger Than
Buffalo” Wings- Buffalo Turkey Wing with Spicy Ranch Potato Bites, Carrot &
Celery Slaw, garnished with a Buffalo Chicken Wing and Blue Cheese $16.49 [I’m
hoping they left out the word, “sauce.” I know they’re into oversized but
garnishing a buffalo wing with another buffalo wing seems excessive.]
Family-sized
Pym-ini- Salami, Salame Rosa with pistachio nuts, Rosemary Ham, Provolone, and
Sun-dried Tomato Spread on Toasted Focaccia with Marinara dipping Sauce, Potato
Bites, and Arugula Salad. Serves 6-8 guests. $99.99 [I feel like a hundred-dollar
sandwich should be under the “sized to share” section, no?]
Not so Little
Chicken Sandwich- Fried Chicken Breast, Teriyaki and Red Chili Sauces, and
Pickled Cabbage Slaw on Brioche, served with crispy Potato Bites $15.49
[Later edit- These were hilarious. A full size chicken breast on a teeeeeeny weeeenie bun.]
{…}
Plant-Based
Impossible™ Spoonful- Rigatoni and Ditalini Pastas, Plant-based Meat-balls, Tomato Sauce, Dairy-free Parmesan and Micro Basil $13.99 [Isn’t a “plant based meat-ball” just a “plant based ball?”]
Lunch and
Dinner Sides
{…}
Sides
{…}
Side Cheese-Beer Sauce $1.39
[Why are there two sections of sides? Do these not go with Lunch and Dinner? Ah yes, I always pour a big helping of Beer Cheese Sauce over my cornflakes in the morning.]
Beverages- The
standard regular and a few non classy. They sell novelty oversized drinking
vessels to keep the theme. They also sell Pym Particle disks and capsules.
Yeah, probably will be leaving with at least one of those, not gonna lie.
[Later edit- Yup, left with both a disk and capsule. Lit up they look great next to what I got at the next place.]
Shawarma
Palace- Avengers Campus
Didn’t put this on the original list due to the limited menu, but I know Anabelle likes this stuff, and is already offended by the existence of the Pym restaurant.
They do have a Woody’s Boot cup, and that weird set of reusable utensils that isn’t a seasonal special here. Freakin’ California.]
[Later edit- Including Gluten Free in the case of Award Wieners, so Rosa ate there twice. Ha Ha Anabelle.]

{…}
Why didn’t I put this on the original review table? Oh crap, wait. It’s just a Starbucks.
That name sounded much cooler. Moving on.
Oh… duh. Paradise Gardens Park.
This one says “Beer Garden.” I thought I was fooled again, but no, it actually has stuff we might eat, and Gluten Free listings.
{…}
{…}
Wait, they only have one Beer… Not much of a garden is it?
Over and undersized food. NEAT!
Honestly, I keep forgetting there’s an AvengersLand, even though I’ve picked out a shirt based on it.
I will probably be stupefied when we enter it.
[Later edit- Very much so, every time. Still not as much as StarWarsLand. Also, this place had fantastic food.]
Pym-ini Sandwich- Salami, Salame Rosa with pistachio nuts, Rosemary Ham, Provolone and Sun-dried Tomato Spread on Toasted Focaccia, served with Marinara Dipping Sauce and Arugula Salad $14.69
[Hey look, They can’t spell panini either!]
[Later edit- These were hilarious. A full size chicken breast on a teeeeeeny weeeenie bun.]
Impossible™ Spoonful- Rigatoni and Ditalini Pastas, Plant-based Meat-balls, Tomato Sauce, Dairy-free Parmesan and Micro Basil $13.99 [Isn’t a “plant based meat-ball” just a “plant based ball?”]
{…}
{…}
Side Cheese-Beer Sauce $1.39
[Why are there two sections of sides? Do these not go with Lunch and Dinner? Ah yes, I always pour a big helping of Beer Cheese Sauce over my cornflakes in the morning.]
[Later edit- Yup, left with both a disk and capsule. Lit up they look great next to what I got at the next place.]
Didn’t put this on the original list due to the limited menu, but I know Anabelle likes this stuff, and is already offended by the existence of the Pym restaurant.
{…}
[Later edit- Didn’t matter what I listed since it wasn’t Gluten Free and Anabelle had one off of the uncopied breakfast menu and ended up loving her Pym Kitchen selection, the "plant based ball" and her tiny fork.]
[Later edit- I already owned a Mjolnir… and (spoilers) now I own an Infinity Gauntlet.]
Burgers and sandwiches featuring the kinds we eat, with a lot of Gluten free. Not sure how I missed this one for the review table. Maybe it was closed. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
[Later Edit- Good thing I found it given our opening day, hotel food issues.]
Grilled Chicken Salad- Chicken Breast, Mixed Lettuce, Black Beans, Corn, Peppers, Cotija Cheese, Spiced Pumpkin Seeds with a Cilantro Lime Dressing $11.99 GF [Pretty fancy billing for a salad there.]
{…}
Double Impossible™ Cheeseburger- two Plant-based Patties, Dairy-free Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Grilled Onion and Plant-based Sauce served with Crinkle Cut-Fries or Cuties® Mandarin Oranges $14.99 GF
[Ooh, will it be as good as the one at Flo’s though?]
[Later edit- It was good. And (spoilers) they didn’t consistently leave off toppings.]
Crinkle-cut Fries $4.49 GF [Ta da!]
{…}
{…shakes, no strawberry…}
[Later Edit- Which is why we spent more time at Flo’s, topping issues or no.]
The final day, assuming we do not go back to Chef Goofy’s or whatever it is called to risk immolation and have a Chip and Dale send off, we’ll need to eat here. I’m sure there’s plenty of food.
See, I don’t plan everything.
[Later edit- Except that I do, because we did risk immolations and have a Chip and Dale send off which was well worth it. YAY!]
Our hotel, we may eat there when we arrive. With the late park hours, we probably won’t have a “come back for dinner night” but you never know. We also may eat here the last day since I was too lazy to list Downtown restaurants. We may get breakfast too if whatever we brought doesn’t provide enough energy to get through our insane pace accompanied by jet lag.
There are no prices, it must be free. As with most of this Relaxed and Groovy place, we need to ask for an allergen tour.
[Later edit- We didn’t ask for an allergen tour, or try the donuts, or eat here when we arrived.
Instead, the hotel “cafeteria” required reservations. Freakin’ California.]
[A lot of this doesn’t seem “breakfast” if it stays the same for “lunch and dinner” I won’t re list it.]
{…many non breakfast foods…}
{…}
{…Breakfasty things…}
{…steak, chicken shrimp etc…}
[Yeah, because I always want a good “breakfast wine” to start the day.
Jokes aside, this place sounds really good. Not good enough to tempt me out of a Disney Park, but still good.]
[Later edit- Oh well, since we can’t accurately judge arrival time, I guess, even if we go back, we’ll never know.]
{…non breakfast sandwiches…}
Famous Maple Bacon Doughnuts- three Doughnuts made to order with our signature Maple Bacon Glaze [They actually call them “famous.” Those people were not kidding]
{…}
Freakin’ California.
None of them changed what was displayed.
Freakin’ California.
[Later edit- Trying to blend in, we took a much more Relaxed and Groovy approach to meals in these parks than usual. We had enough to eat and only danced on the edge of CrazyHungryLand.]
