Disneyland Tips from Jesse-
My tips are limited, but here they are:
- Genie+ is advised. The "extra fees" for special Genie+ attractions (Rise of the Resistance) are probably not needed if you are there for a week. [Later Edit- We didn’t use either.]
- Batuu is cool! [Later Edit- Yes.]
- Space Mountain is Star Wars now -- Whaa? [Later Edit- Yes. Also cool.]
- Single rider on the Spider-Man ride is a nice way to ride it a lot. You get to stay together for the short line, but then split up on the vehicles. [Later Edit- Should have remembered this sooner, and looked harder, as we couldn’t find it.]
- If you want the magic gauntlets that unlock special abilities in the ride, let me know, I might be able to get some sent to you [Later Edit- Didn’t end up needing them.]
- The Magic Shop is an actual Magic Shop again! [Later Edit- YAY!]

If I think of more, I'll let you know.

Me- Cool, good to know thanx.
I didn't realize the California Magic Shop became Not a Magic Shop at any point. Glad I didn't know that.
The Genie thing is interesting, with nine of us, we did the reverse in Florida (no Genie + and paid for Rise of Resistance) but they are two very different locations we're learning.
Thanx again for the info and the offer.

Forwarded it to Anabelle and Rosa
Anabelle *circles offer of magic gauntlets* What? That’s crazy?
Me- Should I take him up on the offer.
Anabelle- Yes, you should
Me- To Jesse
Anabelle was far more excited about the idea of the magic gauntlets than I expected given her low enthusiasm for most of the idea of Marvel Land up until about a minute ago.
She informed me I should take you up on the offer if possible.
thank you again.
[Later Edit- Anabelle would not have used the gauntlets.]

It looks like they play Star Wars Music during the fireworks in Batuu, but Pixar Music and a projection on Main Street. I won’t update the grid because it still only says Sunday.

There are seventy-two new Pixar related snacks coming to Disneyland. I’m not even going to look up what they are. Dig me, embracing the Relaxed and Groovy.
Rosa- Shocked face
Anabelle- That’s so many wtf? Seventy-two. How did they think of that many?

Me – Because Every Restaurant has some plus there’s food booths like the Food and Wine festival. Sorry, there’s Seventy-Three of them.

We’ve seen images and movies of the Wade and Ember meet and greet, as well as the Luca and Alberto one, who we thought were only in the Parade.  Anabelle may explode.
[Later Edit- Anabelle exploded. Frequently.]

I need to print new Grids; the Pixar themed projection show/ fireworks are every night in Disneyland. There is a Pixar dance party every day in both parks.
Anabelle- Shut Up! I’m going to die.
Rosa- *Tears of laughter*
[Later Edit- The fireworks were still only Sunday, the Projection show was every night.]

The Incredibles are in their pre-Marriage costumes. Her Gray and His Blue.
Anabelle- PRE MARRIAGE! OMG!!!!
[Later Edit- Rosa found one of these. Schedules would have been helpful. Freakin’ California.]

Had to manually write one thing in the menus. Rancho De Zoccalo showed up on a non-Disney site during an online search for gluten free churros. Rosa states she will park hop here whenever Anabelle and I do a CA thrill ride… As long as they don’t have three pounds of sugar.
[Later Edit- They did not have three pounds of sugar, they also did not have gluten free churros. The cast member told us about the ones Rosa has had (with three pounds of sugar) in Florida. Rosa found her own solution to this issue.]

Yesterday there was an Existential Crisis for the Shirt Grid. Turns out the new and amazing Elemental and Luca meetings are in Disneyland, not California Adventure as previously thought.
Anabelle has recovered (even though she may die from these… if she survives Clarabelle the first day) and has updated the outfit plans. Pixar Fest has totally eclipsed Star Wars days.
