Disney World 2025 Planning Part 3

H minus 65 Days
We looked at Magic Band Pluses last night. Rosa wasn’t a fan of any designs. Anabelle wasn’t a fan of them vibrating to react to things. I wasn’t a fan of the idea they need to be charged and programmed. Maybe we’ll look again later. 

(Foreshadowing- We did, later being today. There was a Lion King one, but having it be “Vomit Green” also did not make Rosa a fan.) 

Disney sent an email about pre-ordering on sale Magic Bands. It’s like they’re watching us. With super speed clicking I was able to get front and side pictures of the ones she liked to send Anabelle, so we have choices if they all show up together.
She still liked Figment best but wished they all weren’t dark blue.
Me- Since we’re kind of neutral on them and we have 59 days before we need to pre order for delivery, I guess we should wait and see if others show up?
(Foreshadowing- None did.)
 
Even with a known closing looming later this year, the Dinosaur ride’s wait times have not increased. I guess Disney does know what they’re doing with ride closures, huh?

(Not counting Muppetvision. That is a travesty.)
 
Me- I feel like the Disney World App is taking hints from its Disneyland Counterpart. We could see park hours for each day of our trip on it the past couple of days, but Friday of the trip lit up with “Park Hours Unavailable” today.
Rosa- *laughs*
Anabelle- Bruh, lmao.
 
Anabelle had an epiphany last night
Anabelle- IVE GOT IT
my nails are gonna be characters that have topiaries!
Me- Cool
Anabelle- Now I can do Figment AND Muppets AND…
Spike the Bee 😼

Me- As always.

H minus 64 Days
Found a Spike the Bee Magic Shot, sent it to Anabelle.
Anabelle- I don’t even know who Spike the bee is, but I’m obsessed with him.
Do you know what he’s from?
Me- Nope. *Googles*
Oh, He’s from an old Mickey short.
Anabelle- Oh Nice
Me- The Flower and Garden festival booths, topiaries and gardens. *sends map that is almost entirely blacked out with their locations* We’re gonna need that last day hop.

Anabelle- Heheh
I’m so excitedddd
Sydney said she hopes we see her sister at the castle.
Me- Cool.  
(Foreshadowing- We did YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!)
I did another sixty day out meal check late afternoon yesterday. Everything we want at the time we want was there. Except the castle- only late dinners and breakfast.
We should be OK in the morning with our hotel reservations
Anabelle- Woooooooo
Me- There’s a seafood thing at the France place I got my eye on
Anabelle- I am SO excited
To eat in France
so excited
(Foreshadowing- This was the correct response.)
 
They did update the Saturday hours on the App, and back filled Friday as well. We’re good to go for the Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom hop Friday and all day EPCOT on Saturday.
 
Anabelle has been watching Disney films. First Bambi and then Brother Bear.

(Foreshadowing- Why can no one in our family do ANYTHING without turning it into some form of giant checklist? In her Planning Notebook, of course.)

H minus 63 Days
Anabelle is working on her own Stacy like “Must Do Disney” lists. Two of the items are “See ALL the Princesses” and “See a character actually show up when scheduled” she may be bitter. 

(Foreshadowing- She achieved both. YAAAAY!)
 
Park hours for all days are on the App. The first couple have appeared on the website. We’re getting closer to seeing parade schedules if they actually put them there.
 
Anabelle’s Disney movie list has a subsection for ones she needs to watch with us on break. Awwww.

H Minus 62 Days
Tradition dictates it is time for the “Do we know where the ponchos are?” discussion Rosa and I have before every Disney trip.
(Foreshadowing- Rosa found them. Not only did we not use them, but we also actively stopped carrying them. Travelling there in "the dry season" was new to us.)

Anabelle continued her Disney viewing with checking out Moana 2, and accidentally watching The Great Mouse Detective again. It happens.

I figured out why the website Park Hours dates are behind the App Park Hour dates. It used to be if you picked the last date highlighted, the “five day mode” didn’t work. Now it does. Therefore the days that can be selected are five days before the last day they have a posted schedule for.
 
Me- Our flight out has updated from a departure at 8:05PM to 8:11PM. Six extra Disney minutes!
Anabelle- “yas”
(Foreshadowing- Or an extra “non Disney but still not home” hour. Alas.)
Me- The “wait and see” Magic Band Plus method has revealed the minimal, crappy selection has gotten minimaller and crappier- making me think the “wait till we get there… if at all” method will be what we follow.
Rosa- “Heart”
Anabelle- “Yeah, I still think we should shell out for one communal one and Dad can wear it since me and Mom have phone wallets. I might wear my old autograph one for aesthetic purposes though, because I love it.”
Rosa- “Yup”
Me- “The Figment one is still there.”
Anabelle- *stares* “I rest my case”
Rosa-*smiles*
Me- “The credit card flips the day I have to do meals. Maybe if it’s still there, I’ll take it as a sign.”
(Foreshadowing- I did.)
“I did not wear any green today, (Saint Patrick's Day) because I only thought of today as “two days before meal booking day.”
Rosa- “ohhh”
Anabelle- “hahah”
