MAGIC KINGDOM- Sunday 1, Thursday, Friday night
(Possible other nights depending on Park hour shifts and communal insanity.) [Later
Edit- In spite of much communal insanity, there were no other nights.]
Hot Dog Sightings- [because some things are above
important]
Casey’s Corner Confirmed Gluten Free
The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland also has Hot Dogs. No clue about allergies, but they are next to Cosmic Ray’s which used to have GF dogs. A place listed below, which will likely be closed given our history also has them.
Since they are an object of fascination, the Turkey Legs (GF) are sold in Prince Eric’s Market in Fantasyland.

Liberty Square- New England Seafood
[I list this EVERY time we go, and many of us say how good some of it looks. Then we never eat here. Traditions are important.] [Later Edit- We maintained the tradition.]
Trio Platter- Combination of Beer-battered Shrimp, Chicken, and Beer-battered Fish served with French Fries and Hushpuppies [The Disney Platter offering, almost always too little of everything you want to try.]
{...}
{...}
Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries- French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan [Ew.]
Hushpuppies [This is some kind of potato. I have never figured out full, side dish, potato nomenclature]
PB&J Uncrustable [Not a side. If the answer to “what would you like on the side of your sandwich?” Is “A sandwich” that’s an eating disorder.]
{...}
Boston Cream Pie- Vanilla Cake layered with Vanilla Cream, Chocolate Popping Candies, and Crisp Pearls topped with Fudge Icing and a Cherry.
Nonfat Strawberry Greek Yogurt [That’s a heck of a difference. Poor little yogurt.]
Non alcoholic only, but a bunch
Tomorrowland. With the loss of Impossible Burger to the Moon and Hot Dogs, I am saddened. How will we get to watch Sonny Eclipse? At least the fries are still gluten free. Maybe we can smuggle flatbreads in here? [Later Edit- Would we have a trip without eating with our alien friend? Of course not! YAAY!]
Patty Melt GF- Impossible™ Burger topped with Plant-based Swiss Cheese, Pickle Slaw, and Asteroid Sauce on Toast [Pickle slaw! Ugh! Where is my “to the moon,” Sonny? I had a relationship with that sandwich. You wound me.]
Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries- French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan [aka- French fries with a bunch of crap that shouldn’t be on French fries] [Later Edit- Anabelle: “Why are you so offended by these?” Me: “They are an abomination.”]
French Fries GF [aka- as God intended them]
{...}
Passion Fruit-Mandarin Tart- Topped with Whipped Cream and a White Chocolate Piece [And that’s it. Push back after the wall flavored s’more no doubt.]
Non alcoholic but a bunch.
Including a “specialty” one that is Lemonade with pear syrup in it. Disney, we need to talk about your use of the words “special” and “featured.”
New [I don’t care] Fantasyland. Mostly drinks and snacks but usually has ham and cheese on a croissant. Listing in case of CrazyHungryLand emergencies. [Later Edit- There was one of those emergencies. I forgot about this. And many other places… Alas.]
Used to be fairly good Mexican with a freakin’ huge fixin’s bar. Has gone downhill a tad.
In Frontierland (Duh, the Magic Kingdom ones are always easiest.) [Later Edit- Important note for next time: This place can close before the Park. I did not know that. See “CrazyHungryLand” above.]
{...}
[There are Pinto Beans in EVERYTHING!]
Select one: Citrus-Chipotle Chicken, Cherry BBQ Cola Pork, or Green Chile Beef
There is also a double cheeseburger listed on the Gluten Free menu part, which isn’t on the regular part. I guess it’s a double secret cheeseburger.
Plant-based Rice Bowl GF- with Impossible™ Meatballs [The famous “balls” return] in Red Chile Tomato Sauce, Pinto Beans, Cilantro-Lime Rice, Cowboy Caviar, and Lime "Crema"
Charro Beans- Stewed Pinto Beans topped with Pico de Gallo and Queso Fresco [Dude, there are pinto beans in every entrée, do NOT give the people in the hot Florida sun a chance to buy more of them.]
Cilantro-Lime Rice- (Plant-based) [Gotta watch out for that rice made of meat]
{...}
Sweet Corn Mousse- White Chocolate and Raspberry Powder [Corn mousse? That sounds like an abomination]
Mini Churros- Mini Churros with Chocolate Sauce [Mini churros are mini churros. Did they bring the Disneyland guy in to write the churro one?]
Non alcoholic but a bunch.
Fantasyland- Wave at small world riders. YAY!
Florida realizes it can’t make pizza and does its own thing in that area. It apparently works!
[Later edit- I missed mentioning Anabelle's favorite souvlaki flatbread was missing. She noticed immediately, but I should have warned her, apologies.]
Entrées
{...}
Plant-Based
Plant-based "Cheese" Pizza- Pizza topped with Tomato Sauce and "Mozzarella" [Quotes cheeses are usually a bad sign, but this place has a good track record. Could be worth a shot.]
Sides
Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries- French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan [You redeemed yourself with pizza, please stop doing this]
{...}
Quick Bites
Nonfat Greek Yogurt [Nice, this place insulates it from having dessert envy.]
Desserts
Key Lime Pie Tart- Key Lime Tart with Sweet Whipped Cream
[Again, plural problems. Is the “s” in memoriam of the baklava?]
Beverages
Non alcoholic but a bunch.
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
Yes, I know none of us will be going through Plaza withdrawal and need a sundae. However, they also have chocolate, vanilla and Strawberry shakes. Plus a definitely non gluten free S’mores one. [Later Edit- No one had these. Alas.]
Tortuga Tavern
In Adventureland near pirates. I have no idea why I copied it. It was open only once on all our trips and we didn’t go anywhere near it. Still, the menu is too small to list allergens, so it’s a possible hot dog! [Later Edit- Ooh! I did remember!] Plus, I will easily ignore all my dietary restrictions for house made chips. [Later Edit- Retrospectively, this is the same Hot Dog menu as Dockside Diner in MGM. Good to know in case of Hot Dog related emergencies]
Entrées
Barbecued Slaw Dog- All-Beef Hot Dog topped with Barbecued Pork and Slaw served with House-made Chips [This sounds like an Earth Bound Ronto Wrap]
Peanut Butter, Chocolate-Hazelnut
Spread, and Banana Sandwich- Served with House-made Chips [How did this thing
sneak into Tortuga? Sea turtles, mate!]
{...}
{...}
Plant-based "Cheese" Pizza- Pizza topped with Tomato Sauce and "Mozzarella" [Quotes cheeses are usually a bad sign, but this place has a good track record. Could be worth a shot.]
Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries- French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan [You redeemed yourself with pizza, please stop doing this]

Hot Dog Sightings- [because some things are above important]
At the entrance to World Showcase. [Later edit- No it is not. This is in Communicore/ Innoventions/ Whatever It Is Now. Proof that sometimes the Where Will We Go Next Guy has no clue.] A weird mix of food types and ingredients. It has an unhealthy fascination with adding cucumber to drinks. Some of this may be repeated in the festival listings. I do not care.
{…}
Blood Orange-Hibiscus Margarita- Teremana Blanco Tequila with Hibiscus and Blood Orange Syrups and Simply® Orange Juice [Like this place needs any more alcohol.]
Hand-breaded Chicken Sandwich- Pickles, Zesty Sauce, Toasted Brioche Bun [Disney, living the zesty life again]
{…}
General Tso Chicken Salad- Petite Kale Blend, Romaine, Broccoli Slaw, Red Bell Pepper, Mandarin Oranges, Edamame, Crispy Wontons, Warm Fried Chicken, General Tso’s Dressing [I should have known the cucumber place would also feature kale. Ugh I bet they have celery too.]
{…}
{…}
Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries -French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan. [Changed parks and we still have not escaped these.]
{…}
{…}
Shakes
Apple Pie Gelato Shake
Madagascar Vanilla Milk Shake [Are there penguins in it?]
Mango-Coconut Milk Shake- Topped with Pomegranate-Molasses Drizzle (Plant-based) [Enjoy the meat in the other shakes]
Beverages
An insane amount with an insaner amount of alcohol, including fancy varieties.
They have crepes. Savory and Sweet. (And drinks of course.) Ta Da! Countries don’t list Gluten Free so we’d have to ask there anyway. More importantly they have Chocolate, Vanilla or Strawberry shakes!! [Later Edit- We had zero shakes on this trip. I am really starting to believe it was the lack of ability to plan properly making us need shakes more in Disneyland.]
The Japanese place other family members go to a lot. I’ve heard many good things but always get distracted by something else. (Tacos, Bratwurst, Foo Beer, the first two are very nicely distracting, the third also is distracting, but for non-tasty reasons.)
California Roll*- [Nice that they assume we know what this is]
Vegetable Roll- [Secret vegetables… its kale, isn’t it?]
{…}
Yasai (Vegetable) Udon [I need to write some Udon jokes for next time.]
{…}
{…}
Yuzu Miso Wings- 6pc Chicken wings
6 piece Chicken Wings [So? The above wings not dipped in soup?]
{…}
Miso Soup [Order with wings and dip your own!]
{…}
{…}
A non-insane amount of both regular and alcoholic, but Asian varieties.
Mexican place (duh) on the water. I love these tacos, perhaps because I always eat them after greater than one EPCOT Death Marches. [Later Edit- Or, in fact, directly following a high speed, booted foot, half EPCOT Death March.]
Tacos de Barbacoa- Shredded Beef on homemade Corn Tortillas topped with Red Salsa and Cilantro. Served with Rice and Black Beans with Queso Fresco [Black beans… as God intended.]
{...}
Guacamole [Get this instead when more than two diners but less than four. Taco Math II- The Sequel.]
{...}
{...}
A non-insane amount, but significantly more alcoholic ones. Ole!!
French pastry place. They have pastries… in France. Oui oui! Plus a few fancy ways of saying “Ham and Cheese sandwich.” Also, a quiche or two. Beverages are Coffees regular drinks and (of course) wine. [Later Edit- This line is insane. For one of the shorter ones we saw, I walked from here to my tacos before Rosa and Anabelle could order. However, they reported it being good. Especially Anabelle and her quiche fixation.]
Much more upscale but basically mall type Chinese food. I feel like flashbacks to our Nine Dragons days compel me to keep eating here, whether soulless or not. The Foo Beer made me go “foo!” but I remember the Jasmine beer was nice. However, that was the soulless night. The menu is tiny, like many places now, I guess. Alas.
{...}
Chicken Fried Rice Combo- Served with Pork Egg Roll and Fortune Cookie [Does not have bean sprouts- confirmed. And then I ordered something else. Why does my going here always have confusion involved?]
{...}
{...}
A non-insane amount with less alcohol, Asian themed of course.
Pizza in Florida, but also in Italy, so the best shot at it being good is here. Also, because EPCOT (and because Italy), they have alcohol.
Sam Eagle themed barbeque place in America. Boring but plentiful. Run direct by Disney so they list GF.
Memphis Dry-rub Pork Ribs GF- Cornbread and choice of Side [NOT Saint Louis. These are NOT the usual quality Disney ribs! Do not make the mistake I did! Danger, Warning!]
{...}
{...}
Baked Beans with Burnt Ends GF [smoked butts and burnt beans, the other countries are so close, we should just keep walking after our nap.]
{...}
S'mores Brownie [Yes, but is it “wall” flavored?”]
{...}
A moderately insane amount with boring alcohol choices.
German beer, pretzels and bratwurst. YAY!
Even with reduced menus these days, the selection in this place located downstairs in The Land is huge. And they’re decent about the gluten free stuff! [Later Edit- They DO NOT serve dinner anymore!!!!! A gateway to CrazyHungryLand if ever there was one. How did I miss that?]
Stir-fried Chicken GF- Stir-fried Chicken with Teriyaki Chicken, Peppers, Onions, Pineapple, and a Tangy Sweet-and-Sour Sauce [Ooh, “tangy.” Are you sure it’s not “zesty” Disney?]
{…}
Roasted Turkey BLT Wrap [Who did these two wraps offend to have no descriptions?]
{...}
Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie [Whoopeeeeee! Sorry, couldn’t help it.]
Turtle Brownie [Tippy!!! NOOOO!!!] [Later Edit- It's Tibby!!! NOOOO!!! I shall have to turn in my MST3K Fan Club badge.]
{...}
Plus a plethora of “snacks” which are not listed under desserts for what I suspect are old dining plan format reasons.
[Late Edit- Also they cover all the pre-packaged stuff that is the only thing they serve at dinner time. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!]
Beverages
An insane amount of both regular and alcohol.
And “seasonal” MILKSHAKES! I have no idea what flavor.
Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Fish, chips (which are fries) and British beer. In England… duh.
