Bray Days: Orientation Part 2

Orientation continued once we moved into the dorms (for real) the week before Labor Day. I was thrilled to be assigned to Bray Hall. While the overall floor plan and individual rooms were identical to the other freshman dorms, there was one difference. Bray had a larger than life sized mural of the Original Series (at that point, not counting one Next Generation season, the ONLY series) Star Trek crew on the bridge of the Enterprise.

The Witcher Season 2 Gets the Band Back Together For the First Time

Season 2 of The Witcher dropped on Netflix and maintained the high level of quality that the original season promised.  I was a little late to it because I had to finish He-man.

There are random, probably vague, spoilers, because …  I stopped caring.

Bray Days: Orientation Part 1

The main point of college is the classes, however, an equal if not greater amount of education comes from living on one’s own, and interacting with others from that standpoint for the first time.
 

Mastery of the Universe

Yes, the new season of The Witcher dropped, and was awesome. But there was another second part of a Netflix fantasy series I watched first.

I went from "Vaguely interested in the new version of a franchise I never followed, and watched only because I stepped on a bee's nest and didn't want to write that night."

"I gotta see what happens in Part II as soon as it comes out!"

For Kevin Smith and company's Masters of the Universe: Revelations.

It did not disappoint.

Considering I thought they couldn't get crazier than Part I already did, BOY was I wrong.

E-Dorm Life- Prequel: Bray Days Index

This idea started as a paragraph long introduction to the RPI E-Dorm stories with the intention of containing quick highlights to some First Year adventures occurring before we moved into the dorm we lived in the remaining college years.

Back in my first Avengers reviews I mentioned that the West Coast franchise of that group was a gateway into comic collecting for me.  I also mentioned that Clint Barton was my favorite character.

I Didn't Know Thats- Christmas Edition

Every year when we put up the Christmas tree, we watch the Rankin-Bass Classics.

Since it was an only once a year viewing, we never bothered to upgrade from the old VHS tapes of the shows. There was a period where we had burned the tapes onto a DVD and used that.

Then the disc stopped working, plus we lost it.
